Benefits of applying for the E-1 visa
Freedom to travel, the E-1 visa, allows you to
travel freely to any part of the United States, in addition to leaving
and entering as many times as necessary.
You will be able to work for your commercial
company and live in that country with your spouse and unmarried
children, under 21 years of age.
Spouses and children may apply for E-1
nonimmigrant visa classification as dependents and, if approved, will
generally be granted the same period of stay as the employee.
You will be able to cut out intermediaries and
reduce costs. For example, the goods that your company produces in the
country of origin can be sold directly to your US company without
intermediaries.
